Have fun while learning: Explore the world of computers, art and the sciences while having fun at the same time! At Native American Youthsummer (NAYS),  you learn about career areas through field trips, hands-on experience and classroom discussion.

Plenty of field trips: You won’t sit in the classroom all day! An activity is planned every day to give you a chance to see the relationship between what you learn in class and how it’s used in the real world. You take field trips to various occupation sites (click on "Plenty of Feild Trips" and see list of activities are confirmed for this years program). You may work in the computer lab or conduct experiments.

No grades or tests: The atmosphere at Native American Youthsummer program is relaxed. There are NO tests or grades.

Getting to Superior: UW-Superior picks up students the day before the program starts from central locations in Ashland, Bayfield and Hayward. Students live in a residence hall on campus. Food is provided. Once the program has finished,  the University brings the students back home to Ashland, Bayfield and Hayward.
