Faith Hensrud, who teaches Logistics in the Transportation and Logistics Major at UW-Superior, participated in a course about modem break-bulk shipping operations. The Duluth Seaway Port Authority hosted the three-day seminar, which was sponsored by the American Association of Port Authorities. The seminar was designed to give practitioners insight into the latest cargo handling methods, terminal operations and intermodal linkage for the movement of break-bulk cargoes.
