Procedure for adding network connections

If additional network connections are needed, the office or department should contact facilities management to arrange for cable to be pulled and terminated.

If the need is immediate, the department or office can contact Networking Services to make arrangement for loaner equipment to be installed until the cabling or wireless devices have been installed.

Network cable, wireless devices and loaner equipment must meet certain standards and specifications to ensure network reliability and security.
