The Center provides services to those Native American Students entering the university and to students in the Native American community that are considering higher education.  These services include financial aid and academic counseling along with personal counseling from a Native American orientation.

As part of this service, the Center also advises the American Indian Student Organization.  This student run organization provides both Native and non-Native American students the opportunity to participate in social and cultural activities and promote Native American awareness.

Each Spring the Center sponsors Native American Awareness Month in which speakers and presenters showcase programs aimed at educating people about Native Americans.  The month culminates with one of the largest pow wows in the area.
