Promoting Community and Economic Development
The Northern Center for Community and Economic Development, UW-Superior/Extension, uses applied research and outreach to help Wisconsin communities strengthen local economies. Working with county Extension educators, the Center develops measurement tools and surveys, undertakes public policy education through workshops and provides economic data. The Center helps communities carry out needs assessments, supports work in natural resources management and promotes business competitiveness.
