CD Course
Course Description: A basic course in human
ecology for students with limited training in science. Environmental
problems related to human activities in the modern world are
emphasized. This course meets the General Education
Environmental Science requirement and together with Biology 101 meets
the Wisconsin Teaching Certification Requirement for Environmental
Science. Does not count toward the Biology major. No prerequisite.

BIOLOGY (4 cr)

Course description: A general education
course with lab component, designed to introduce students to the
structure and function of the human body as related to areas of health
and disease. This course is designed to meet the General Education
requirement for laboratory science. Not open to those having taken Human
Anatomy and Physiology with a laboratory.
Required meetings: One initial conference
with instructor the first week of the semester. May be by phone or e-mail.
Other meetings as requested.
