            Questions and Answers:

            Q:  I received Student Tech Fee Funds last year and received a budget request form for that cost center.  Do I use this form to request a FY 2006 allocation from Student Tech Fee funds? 

            A:  No.  You received the worksheet because the cost center had activity in the last two years.  The full amount of the Student Tech Fee stays in one cost center and is distributed by the Student Tech Fee Committee as in the past.

            Q:  I received a budget request form worksheet for a cost center in which I received a one time allocation last year.  Do I need to submit a form?

            A:  No.  You do not have to submit a budget if you are not requesting Redbook base budget.

            Q:  I received a UW System grant last year.  Do I need to submit the budget request form worksheet you sent me?

            A:  No.  You do not have to submit a budget if you are not requesting Redbook base budget.

            Q:  I completed the staffing proposal.  Am I done?

            A:  The SPBC committee has provided a format for budget requests.  The form is similar to last year and includes a narrative section and a request for staffing proposal.  If your budget includes staff, you should submit both the budget request with narrative and the staffing proposal.
