Computers play an important role in both research and education for the Department of Biology. The UWS campus boost a state of the art computer network which provides all students with access to computers.

Biology faculty all work with state of the art computers which they used for research and course preparation.
 
Science Computer Lab (SCL)
 
The Science Computer Lab (SCL) is located in Barstow 209.  This lab is equipped with eight, 400 mHz Pentium, NT workstation.  Each workstation includes an 19" High resolution monitor, 128 Meg RAM, 10 Gig Hard Drive, CD ROM, 16 Meg Video Card, 3.5" Floppy, 100 Meg Zip Disk and Internet Access.
