Center contains everything needed by students enrolled in the Art,
Music and Communicating Arts programs. The building is packed with
art studios, practice rooms, a recital hall, two theaters, two art
galleries and numerous classrooms. It's a great place to get
hands-on experience. Art students work in studios for ceramics,

galleries provide a place to display student work. Theatre majors
build their résumés by working on stage and behind the scenes in the
main stage and experimental theaters. An extensive set-building
workshop allows unlimited use of the imagination when preparing for
a performance. Musicians and vocalists get plenty of opportunity to
perform in the Concert Choir, Chamber Choir, Symphonic Band,
University Chamber Orchestra, Jazz Ensemble and Chamber Ensembles.
Holden contains a recital hall and ample practice space, including
rooms equipped with pianos, keyboards and pipe organs. Holden also
contains a TV studio and the studios of KUWS, a Wisconsin Public
