| Biology
and Earth Sciences are diverse fields with many
specialty areas and exciting career opportunities. At UWS the
Biology and Earth Science faculty will guide you in selecting a program
of study that best suits your interests and goals. The Biology curriculum
leads to either a B.S. or B.A. degree with concentrations in General
Biology, Cell/Molecular Biology, Ecology, Aquatic Biology, Fisheries
Science and Plant Sciences. The Earth Sciences curriculum offers
many exciting courses in Geography, Geology, Hydrology, and GIS as well
as a minor in Physical Environmental Science.
To receive a degree in Biology a minor field of study is required as
well as completion of one of the Biology Foci mentioned above.
Students with an interest in medical health care delivery will find the
Biology curriculum at UWS provides a comprehensive background which
enables students to apply for professional health and medical programs.
