Welcome to my home page! I am a Professor in the Teacher Education
Department here at UW-Superior. I teach Social Studies Methods
for the Elementary School Teacher and also various reading courses
at the Undergraduate and Graduate levels. I am also the Department
Chair for Teacher Education. This year I received the Teaching
Excellence Award for the campus. When I have time for hobbies, I
enjoy reading, particularly mysteries, knitting, and needlepoint. A
couple of years ago, I researched the
History of Teacher Education at this campus.
I spent hours looking over one hundred years of catalogs and yearbooks. It was fun and
very interesting. I pulled the most important information together into a monograph, which
