<|> Moderator: Welcome to our chat with Phil Collins!
<|> Moderator: As you probably know, Phil's latest project is the soundtrack
to Walt Disney's latest animated
masterpiece, Tarzan!
<|> Moderator: Tarzan doesn't swing into theaters until June 18th but you can
get the soundtrack album now on
Walt Disney Records.
<|> Moderator: As a special bonus for chat guests today, you can get
30520000ff the CD from CD Now
<|> Moderator: Thanks for hjoining us Phil!
<|> PhilCollins: crowd nosie impression (YayyyyyyY! We love you!) Thanks, I
am looking forward to being here.
<|> PhilCollins: It's a great experience!
guest-fantazia2832778 says: Mr. Collins, I have been a fan for 16
years...How did you become involved
with this project?
guest-EZGuest56350 says: How did you get involved with "Disneys"
Tarzan?
<|> PhilCollins: I made some noises to Disney about doing some character
voices back in '94/
<|> PhilCollins: That didn't go very far, but Chris Montana called from
Disney, and asked if I would consider
<|> PhilCollins: doing some music for a film.
<|> PhilCollins: That sounded good, and then they mentioned "Tarzan"
<|> PhilCollins: I thought that might be in my area, as I was back into
playing drums
<|> PhilCollins: and I thought someone was watching me, and pointing me in
that direction.
<|> PhilCollins: So I was happy to do it.
<|> PhilCollins: But I wondered at first if I could do what they wanted me to
do.
<|> PhilCollins: The legacy of Disney music is so awesome!
<|> PhilCollins: They said they just wanted me to be me, though.
<|> PhilCollins: Write what I write normally.
<|> PhilCollins: I dived into it, and have had a lovely time. It's been a
great four years on the project.
<|> PhilCollins: *
guest-CoralCat0 says: Do you feel the drums you use so heavily
worked well for Tarzan?
<|> PhilCollins: When you're talking about jungles and stuff, drums are what
come to mind.
<|> PhilCollins: Some of what I had thought of wasn't suited, but I felt we
could get the intricacies
<|> PhilCollins: of drums into the film.
<|> PhilCollins: *
guest-sssudio says: Hi Phil!! I love Disney and I love your music!
This is a dream come true for me
that you're doing a Disney movie!! Thanks from my family!!
<|> PhilCollins: It's dawning on me now that the project is almost out, and
real people are seeing,
<|> PhilCollins: not just those who have worked on it.
<|> PhilCollins: Some have grown up with "Genesis" music, and now have
families.
<|> PhilCollins: It's very gratifying, and I am pleased to bring people over
to this kind of thing.
<|> PhilCollins: I appreciate the comment.
<|> PhilCollins: *
guest-veroblue says: Would you like to write and sing in french for
future projects ? Did you like the
experience of singing in different language for Tarzan songs?
<|> PhilCollins: It was something I had never ever done before.
<|> PhilCollins: I never really thought about it before.
<|> PhilCollins: I now live in Switzerland, in the French part.
<|> PhilCollins: But French is unforgiving. You must do in completely
correctly, or the French prefer
<|> PhilCollins: you don't do it at all.
<|> PhilCollins: It was more difficult than I thought.
<|> PhilCollins: We finally got there, and got the pronounciation the French
would like.
<|> PhilCollins: I jokingly say I wouldn't attempt it again, but it's my home
language now, and I would indeed do it
again.
<|> PhilCollins: I now can say I am part of true world music. I had my eyes
opened to that.
<|> PhilCollins: *
guest-DOLDeveloper says: What was the toughest language for you to
sing in while recording
"Strangers Like Me?"
<|> PhilCollins: The toughest one was French. They are so fussy how you
pronounce a two-letter word.
<|> PhilCollins: If you say "tu" wrong, they correct you. I spent ten
minutes one day trying to get it just right.
<|> PhilCollins: *
guest-myvw says: My family and I luv you...I wanted to buy the
Tarzan CD today ..it was sold out .....
<|> PhilCollins: Perfect! LOL
<|> PhilCollins: Really, I am sorry you didn't get a copy.
<|> PhilCollins: It's almost more exciting than bringing your own record out.
<|> PhilCollins: I am pleased in a way you found it sold out.
<|> Moderator: Remember, you can get it for 30520000ff from CD Now after the
chat. Just click on the CD Now
logo after the chat finishes!
<|> PhilCollins: *
guest-Pollyanna13 says: How do you feel about the use of
"non-traditional" instruments these days?
Like, trashcan lids, etc.
<|> PhilCollins: I think it's fantastic! You can make music with anything.
<|> PhilCollins: The only reason we have used electric guitars and drums is
that we have conformed
<|> PhilCollins: to what we thought was "normal".
<|> PhilCollins: To be honest, on the recording of this album, my
percussionist brought all his toys
<|> PhilCollins: to the studio, including three high-quality trash cans!
<|> PhilCollins: They were fantastic, and great sound.
<|> PhilCollins: If it makes a noise, and it fits, you use it.
<|> PhilCollins: If it's used in a certain way, then do it.
<|> PhilCollins: It has to be used when appropriate, and obviously not during
a ballad by Pavarotti.
<|> PhilCollins: But there was lots of room for percussion, and I was hitting
anything I could find in the studio.
<|> PhilCollins: *
guest-weRgoofy2 says: Will you be swinging on a vine at your next
concert appearance? Cool idea,
huh? Sounds like fun doesn't it Phil? Your not afraid are you?
<|> PhilCollins: LOL Not a lot, actually.
<|> PhilCollins: At the end of the record, there is the finale, and then the
Tarzan cry.
<|> PhilCollins: And many will think it is me doing it...but I am here to
tell you it is NOT me.
<|> PhilCollins: We will be playing at the premiere of the film in New York,
and at other spots across the world,
<|> PhilCollins: but no swinging on vines is in the picture.
<|> PhilCollins: *
guest-sssudio says: Okay, Phil-tell me how those wonderful Tarzan
songs were written? I have been
wearing out my copy already! I absolutely love all the songs! Great job!
<|> PhilCollins: Thankn you!
<|> PhilCollins: They were written pretty much as in anything I write. You
sit down
<|> PhilCollins: at the keyboard, and you hope something nice comes out. But
you don't know what will happen.
<|> PhilCollins: I had a treatment of the story, that told me where the songs
MIGHT be.
<|> PhilCollins: There wasn't a script.
<|> PhilCollins: I started writing straight away. You try to get an
atmosphere for the moment in the film,
<|> PhilCollins: but there IS no film, just drawings.
<|> PhilCollins: There's nothing to write TO.
<|> PhilCollins: I did see some animation over the four years, but you write
with an idea in mind.
<|> PhilCollins: It's very complex.
<|> Moderator: Is this your first experience writing for an animated film?\
<|> PhilCollins: It was my first experience to do an animated film, but I
enjoyed it, and plan to do more work for
Disney in the future.
<|> PhilCollins: *
guest-ChuckH6 says: How was it trying to write a song that needed
to say a lot but could only be 3
minutes long for the constraints of the movie's time?
<|> PhilCollins: That in itself was a challenge.
<|> PhilCollins: Most of my fans will know that my songs usually may run four
or five minutes to say what they need
to say.
<|> PhilCollins: Here, it was a different set of rules, to be economical.
<|> PhilCollins: And get within those parameters.
<|> PhilCollins: I was asked to shorten it at times, and we edited as needed.
<|> PhilCollins: *
guest-gbuc says: Will you be going on tour promoting this CD?
<|> PhilCollins: No, I won't go on tour with it. The next time I will go on
tour
<|> PhilCollins: will be after my next album, but I don't know when that will
be.
<|> PhilCollins: I took a big band out last year, and just played drums in
it, and we did
<|> PhilCollins: big band versions of my songs. We did an album of it, and
it's coming out.
<|> PhilCollins: It's a live album, recorded in Europe.
<|> PhilCollins: I would take that out on tour maybe, but otherwise, no solo
tour until after my next solo album.
<|> PhilCollins: *
guest-manolisvarnas says: phil what do you think of the music in
the 90s in copmare of the music back
in the 80s
<|> PhilCollins: Well, like any period, there's stuff you like, and then
there's.....
<|> PhilCollins: There's wonderful stuff I hear that has wonderful sound
quality, and there's a lot of good stuff out
there,
<|> PhilCollins: but I have those I listen to that are my favorites.
Including those such as Count Basie.
<|> PhilCollins: But if I like something, I will go out and buy it.
<|> PhilCollins: *
guest-KaseyHh says: Dear Phil, I have a lot of older Genesis cds
and I have noticed that over the years
your voice has become much stronger. Could you give me advice on how I could
do the same.
<|> PhilCollins: Well, just hang around for 15 or 20 years.
<|> PhilCollins: When I first sang in the band, I was thrown into the deep
end.
<|> PhilCollins: It takes time, especially if you're a drummer, not a singer.
<|> PhilCollins: I was supposed to be a backup.
<|> PhilCollins: It takes time to gain a character, and it's like an elastic
band.
<|> PhilCollins: You stretch it, and the next day, you can't stretch it as
far.
<|> PhilCollins: And you go slow, so you don't blow your voice out.
<|> PhilCollins: It takes some less times than others.
<|> Moderator: Do you have a recollection of an injury on tour like that?
<|> PhilCollins: In Detroit, in 1985, I lost my voice. It was a difficult
decision to make.
<|> PhilCollins: You may learn after you open the doors that you can't do it.
<|> PhilCollins: In Tampa, with Genesis, at the sound check, I thought it was
a little off. But I told them I thought I
would be alright.
<|> PhilCollins: We went on, and I was terrible. I cried about it afterwards.
<|> PhilCollins: Some fans didn't notice, but the fans that did, I hope most
understood.
<|> PhilCollins: I had let the crew down, the people down.
<|> PhilCollins: It wasn't a decision made lightly, and I understand they had
made an investment in coming to see
us.
<|> PhilCollins: And the last thing I want to happen is to go home without
doing my best.
<|> PhilCollins: *
guest-JacqNic says: Since music is such an instrumental part
(hahaha) of Disney movies, what's it like
knowing that when people think of Tarzan, they are going to think of you?
<|> PhilCollins: Pretty fantastic really!
<|> PhilCollins: It puts the pressure on, actually. You always want to the
do the best you can,
<|> PhilCollins: and please those on the project.
<|> PhilCollins: And you do start thinking of all the famous Disney songs
<|> PhilCollins: -- Whistle While You Work, Zippity-Do-Da, and others...
<|> PhilCollins: you hope you live up to expectations.
<|> PhilCollins: *
guest-simba312 says: Did any of your "regular band" perform or
otherwise help in the project?
<|> PhilCollins: Yes, Nathan East played bass on the songs, but most of it
was just me.
<|> PhilCollins: What you hear on the CD is mostly my demos, but with drums
added, guitar work, bass.
<|> PhilCollins: I use those demos often when I like them.
<|> PhilCollins: My home studio is the size of a small bedroom, and I work on
my own.
<|> PhilCollins: It's all user-friendly, with 24-track machines.
<|> PhilCollins: My demos, embroidered upon, result in many of my albums.
<|> PhilCollins: *
guest-PhilFan1 says: Hi Phil! I'm a huge fan and also a musician,
and your music is a huge inspiration
to me. One thing I was wondering was, Where did you get the idea for Trashing
The Camp?
<|> PhilCollins: Well, it was a scene that they wanted a song for.
<|> PhilCollins: I got an immediate take on it, and I got an idea on it
pretty quick.
<|> PhilCollins: The basic bones of those songs came to me in the first two
weeks.
<|> PhilCollins: It is an incredibly easy song, three chords.
<|> PhilCollins: But hard in how it was based around the animation, and they
didn't know until they got the demo
how they would animate.
<|> PhilCollins: So it was like the chicken and the egg.
<|> PhilCollins: We finally decided on an approach, and it proceeded from
there.
<|> PhilCollins: And we finally finished it.
<|> PhilCollins: It was interesting to do, but very hard.
<|> PhilCollins: *

CCCouGar says: Looking back now, how honored do you feel to have
been an extra in The Beatles' "A
Hard Day's Night"? And was that your first foray into the world of music?
<|> PhilCollins: Oh no! I've lived with this for many years!
<|> PhilCollins: I was about 13 then, and around that time, there were other
films
<|> PhilCollins: being made.
<|> PhilCollins: There's one for "Deadline for Diamonds" that I was in, and
others.
<|> PhilCollins: I was in drama school then, and we got sent to many of them.
<|> PhilCollins: I must admit, 20 years on, alongside Paul McCartney, handing
him an award,
<|> PhilCollins: he couldn't believe I was in that picture, I couldn't
believe it, and here I was,
<|> PhilCollins: handing him an award!
<|> PhilCollins: *
guest-bjbyrne says: D you credit anybody as being your inspration
for the Tarzan Soundtrack?
<|> PhilCollins: Only the people that were involved in the movie who pushed me
<|> PhilCollins: to push myself.
<|> PhilCollins: "Strangers Like Me" has a Genesis influence.
<|> PhilCollins: But many have chord arrangements I would never normally use.
<|> PhilCollins: There's a very urgent feeling in that song.
<|> PhilCollins: I was kind of pushed to do this, to make this the best that
can be.
<|> PhilCollins: So the directors and producers and music producer were such
a help. I played "You'll Be in My
Heart"
<|> PhilCollins: over the phone to them, and they said it needed some work.
So I went back, and pushed harder,
and I did improve it.
<|> PhilCollins: It was that kind of help, that pushing, that helped me.
<|> PhilCollins: *
guest-jldodge10 says: Phil, I enjoy seeing my 2 1/2 yr old grandson
dancing to the music from the
movie. He can't wait to see it. Thank you so much to the contribution to good
stuff for kids to watch!!
<|> PhilCollins: This is coming at the end of a long day of getting feedback
about this film.
<|> PhilCollins: I've lived this for four years, sort of in a cocoon, and
now, it's out in the world,
<|> PhilCollins: and you hear comments from people who have no ax to grind.
<|> PhilCollins: And the feedback is very positive, and what every writer
dreams of.
<|> PhilCollins: It's something you've done that you're proud of, and they
say it has touched their lives.
<|> PhilCollins: It is the "thank you" that makes me pleased.
<|> PhilCollins: *
guest-Stevet61 says: In the trailer on GO Network, you look like
you are having a blast doing the songs.
Could you tell me just what it felt like to do it?
<|> PhilCollins: It was great fun!
<|> PhilCollins: It was a very gradual process, so you're constantly adding
to it.
<|> PhilCollins: You actually have the time to make the decisions.
<|> PhilCollins: You sometimes don't notice how you could do it better until
you're out on the road with it.
<|> PhilCollins: But with four years, you have the luxury of catching it IN
the studio, and it has its advantages,.
<|> PhilCollins: Not that I would want to work four years on every project.
<|> PhilCollins: It's not something I do naturally, and I couldn't push it
any faster, due to the time
thanks guest-Nasnet1, your question has been received
<|> Moderator: Remember you can get 30520000ff the Tarzan soundtrack through
CD NOW after the chat by
clicking on the CD Now logo on the left.
<|> PhilCollins: it takes for the animation, and the time for the elements to
come together.
<|> PhilCollins: *
<|> Moderator: And be sure to join us here at Tarzan.com for our special
webcast LIVE from the red carpet of the
Tarzan premiere party in Hollywood on Saturday, June 12th at 6:30pm ET/3:30 PT
guest-Irene615 says: Phil, where do you see as your place in music
history? What do you want to be
remembered for?
<|> PhilCollins: I don't think about things like that.
<|> PhilCollins: If remembered at all, I would like to be remembered as a
pretty good drummer.
<|> PhilCollins: We shouldn't get caught up in an ego tunnel. It was
something I was
<|> PhilCollins: fortunate to do, something I love, and I try hard.
<|> PhilCollins: Maybe my gravestone should say, "I tried hard"
<|> PhilCollins: 8
guest-simba312 says: Since you consider yourself a drummer first
and foremost - what drumming
frontiers do you still want to explore?
<|> PhilCollins: Certain things come to you at a time in your life when you
acknowledge your are ready nnow.
<|> PhilCollins: I had to learn to play for two or three hours again, and
it's a style I don't naturally play.
<|> PhilCollins: I had to invent a notation system for myself to use.
<|> PhilCollins: (That's two or three hours at a time)
<|> PhilCollins: I hadn't done that for a long time.
<|> PhilCollins: I hadn't played drums like that since I went out with Eric
Clapton back
<|> PhilCollins: in the mid-80's.
<|> PhilCollins: That was a big surge in energy for me, to realize that dream.
guest-jillbeans says: The second grade play at my school was called
disney on parade a history of
famous disney songs from films the next time we perform it we will definitely
include tarzan
<|> PhilCollins: There's lots of things out there that I haven't even though
of to do yet.
<|> PhilCollins: *
<|> PhilCollins: Certain films don't date, that is, you can watch them over
and over again.
<|> PhilCollins: Many are Disney films, such as "Bambi" or "Dumbo", are like
pieces of art.
<|> PhilCollins: They won't really ever date.
<|> PhilCollins: There is something very timeless about them.
<|> PhilCollins: It's a statement of animation, of art, whereas live films,
you can date them by the haircuts
<|> PhilCollins: or the trousers.
thanks guest-Nasnet1, your question has been received
<|> Moderator: Did you cry when Bambi's mother died?
<|> PhilCollins: Yes ;-(
guest-Pretorius2 says: Hello Phil, today is my brother's birthday,
and I was wondering if you could say
happy birthday to him, I thought it would be neat if Phil Collin's said happy
birthday to my brother, so will you? by the
way, I was 1st in line to get the Tarzan soundtrack, I LOVED your song's!
<|> PhilCollins: That's very nice....I don't know your brother's name, but I
want to wish to you a Happy Birthday
<|> PhilCollins: (singing) Happy Birthday to you,
<|> PhilCollins: Happy Birthday to you
<|> PhilCollins: Happy Birthday to you
<|> PhilCollins: Happy Birthday to you
<|> PhilCollins: *
guest-Rlztn says: Hi Phil! I'm also a drummer, and I like to
compose music in my bedroom with my
computer and other equipment in my spare time. When I sit down to write
something, I have trouble being coherent.
What state of mind are you in while writing? What do you think about?
<|> PhilCollins: You have to be prepared
<|> PhilCollins: that there will be days when nothing will happen.
<|> PhilCollins: Those of us who have success do NOT have it all just "pour
out."
<|> PhilCollins: It's a matter of timing and luck many times.
<|> PhilCollins: "Against All Odds" is a classic example.
<|> PhilCollins: You just fool around, and some times improvisation just
makes it happen.
<|> PhilCollins: I tried all day, I didn't think it sounded original. I went
downstairs, took a break,
<|> PhilCollins: then came back. Finally, I was going to give up, and five
minutes from that point, it all came
together.
<|> PhilCollins: You're a lucky person if you can sit down, and it comes
together for you.
<|> PhilCollins: It's a matter of luck.
<|> PhilCollins: *
guest-Olsen7 says: Hi Phil! I've been a fan since we were both a
lot younger... How was it to work with
the teen sensation band NSync??
<|> PhilCollins: Just before Christmas, my youngest daughter, Lily, wanted
tickets in L.A.
<|> PhilCollins: It's her favorite band, so I arranged the tickets for her.
<|> PhilCollins: We were considering doing other versions later on the album,
and we were considering acapella
arrangements
<|> PhilCollins: and we thought of them, and got ahold of them, and my
daughter thought I was the greatest Dad,
cause I was able to let her sit in on the session.
<|> PhilCollins: Boyz to Men is another one that impressed me a lot.
<|> PhilCollins: *
guest-JacqNic says: Mr. Collins, I've been listening to your music
since I was born and my mom would
play it around the house. I've noticed that since the Tarzan CD came out my
teenage friends are finally starting to
realize how incredibly cool you are and I just wanted to say thanks for the
music and for bridging that gap! You're the
best!
<|> PhilCollins: Flattery will get you anywhere you want!
<|> PhilCollins: I'm so unhip, I am almost hip again!
<|> PhilCollins: *
guest-EZGuest33293 says: We remember watching the early tazans on
Sunday afternoons, did you
watch as a child?
<|> PhilCollins: I have never seen one of them all the way through.
<|> PhilCollins: It wasn't that big in Europe as in America.
<|> PhilCollins: But when I got the job, I read the original novel by Edgar
Rice Burroughs.
<|> PhilCollins: It was a really gripping read.
<|> PhilCollins: There were many many Tarzans in the movies, including Johnny
Weissmueller who was the most
famous one.
<|> PhilCollins: *
guest-Penny355 says: Phil, I'm a big fan and feel everything you do
is "quality". Has your daughter Lily
seen the movie and if so, what did she think?
<|> PhilCollins: Actually, my daughter sings in the movie. There are a
couple of moments with a kids' choir,
<|> PhilCollins: and she was part of that.
<|> PhilCollins: She's 10, and it's a great time for her. I wanted to get
the film done before she was a teenager.
LOL
<|> PhilCollins: She says "It's all over the place, Dad" - billboards, on
radio.
<|> PhilCollins: I did it for Lily. My oldest kids are 26 and 22, so they are
kind of past that,.
<|> PhilCollins: I thought doing this (at first, as character voices) so she
could show her children, and her
children's children.
<|> PhilCollins: It just goes on, and they won't forget "Tarzan."
<|> Moderator: Are you a family man?
<|> PhilCollins: I've been divorced for some time, but I feel the need to "be
there" for them as much as I can, and
show them I love them.
<|> PhilCollins: I have three great kids, and I am very lucky.
<|> PhilCollins: *
guest-Freckleface7 says: Of everything you have done in your
career, and tried (acting, singing,
composing) nwhat has brought you the most :joy"?
<|> PhilCollins: It's difficult to say, because when you finish one you like
and are proud of, at that moment, you're
happy.
<|> PhilCollins: A highlight was playing drums in Eric Clapton's band in the
80's and early 90's.
<|> PhilCollins: Many would not think that would qualify because of all else
I have done,
<|> PhilCollins: but that, and the big band experience, and working with Tony
Bennett, all are high points for me.
<|> PhilCollins: I've had a charmed life.
<|> PhilCollins: I've done what I've pretty much wanted to do, and there's
stuff out there I was very
<|> PhilCollins: pleased to have done.
<|> PhilCollins: Different hats on, such as a songwriter, and feedback I have
heard tonight, actually
<|> PhilCollins: making a difference for someone through what you have
written, that's got me spoiled.
<|> PhilCollins: *
guest-EZGuest73200 says: My 3 year old daughter already can sing
along to the chorus of"You'll be in
my heart".
<|> PhilCollins: That's the idea, isn't it? To write a song because it hits
a nerve.
<|> PhilCollins: You have a sophisticated three-year-old!
<|> PhilCollins: That's very very nice of you to say so.
<|> PhilCollins: *
guest-weRgoofy2 says: When will you be in New York for a concert?
Soon I hope. We can't wait to see
you and hear your wonderful songs. What was your inspiration in making the
song You'll be in my heart? It's our
favorite on the cd so far.!
<|> PhilCollins: As far as playing goes, I don't know. Next will be the big
band tour next year.
<|> PhilCollins: I have to think about touring now. I am 48, and I don't
really want to see many more hotels.
<|> PhilCollins: But audiences DO keep you going, and you need it as a
performer.
<|> PhilCollins: I had no drawings for "You'll Be In My Heart"
<|> PhilCollins: I did have one about the baby touching the mother gorilla's
hand.
<|> PhilCollins: I remembered being on the road with Lily, and she would be
crying, and I would sing to her to keep
her quiet
<|> PhilCollins: I used that mentality when writing this. It was called
"Lullaby" until a year ago.
<|> PhilCollins: When this started, there is a scene when Carla knocks over a
music box,
<|> PhilCollins: and I thought it would be great if that song played.
<|> PhilCollins: But they cut that part out of the movie.
<|> PhilCollins: I was sad about that.
<|> PhilCollins: *
guest-bubslong says: My 1yr old grandson loves to hear your music
Your voice is soothing to him and
he smiles and dances when I play any of your music. Will you say Hi to him his
name is Jason
<|> PhilCollins: Hi, Jason! This is the "other" bald guy!
<|> Moderator [laughs]
<|> PhilCollins: Jason, go to bed...what are you doing up? It's late!
<|> PhilCollins: *
guest-EZGuest says: WHat advice would you give youngsters?
<|> PhilCollins: I don't want to sound like a conservative do-gooder, but we
need to ask some questions
<|> PhilCollins: to ourselves about how we want the world to be that we live
in.
<|> PhilCollins: They have to be taught, and to teach their children.
<|> PhilCollins: To have different races, a different God, a different
belief, it's okay.
<|> PhilCollins: Tolerance for your fellow man is one of the most important
things.
<|> PhilCollins: I find that teaching compassion and tolerance is important.
<|> PhilCollins: It may not be hip to listen to, but I think we need to
address it.
<|> PhilCollins: Our children will grow up to be representatives of what they
were taught.
<|> PhilCollins: *
<|> Moderator: Phil, I'm afraid we'reout of time for today's chat. Any
closing words to your fans online?
<|> PhilCollins: I'm really touched. This has been a long road to get this
film done,
<|> PhilCollins: and to be received as it is being received, I can't believe
